As a matter of fact, my 2013 MacBook Pro didn't get shiny keys from a 10-year heavy usage, as opposed to my new 2021, which kind of already does.

I guess they just used a better material 10 years ago.

BUT: I think they should just start making white keyboards, because I've never had shiny key problems with any of the Apple keyboards which are offered in white.
