I was one of the backers when reMarkable was a startup a few years ago. I pre-ordered the rM1 shortly after that, and I am still using it to this day. They won me over because:

- They gave the old-timers a lifetime Connect subscription for free

- The rM1 still looks like new, and the battery has no significant degradation

- They are still releasing updates for the rM1! ❤️ They don't limit your software features just so that you buy the newer ones while the old one still works perfectly.

I can't wait to try the Pro. It looks promising.
